Christmas Party with Payatas Kids (December 12, 2009)
My headstrong barkada decided to have a Christmas Party with the children of Payatas whom we visited last October.
Everyone of us was involved in planning on which items to give to the children as christmas gift and which food to bring. Since they are students from a day care, we opted to provide them with school supplies.
We are very happy to see them once again especially those who became close to us during our first visit. After the party, we felt exhausted but very fulfilled since we were able to make the children happy and excited again to go to school since they have new school supplies.

Taiwan Adventure - Day 2 Modern Toilet (November 29, 2009)
Taiwan Adventure - Day 2 Chiang Kai Shek Memorial (November 29, 2009)
After the tour of the northeast, we decided to visit the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial since it is one of the most visited places in Taipei. We had a lot of picture shots there but most of them are using Mommy Barok's camera.
We did also go to the nearby Presidential Office Building and National Central Library.
Taiwan Adventure - Day 2 Yehliu Geological Park (November 29, 2009)
Taiwan Adventure - Day 2 Chungcheng Park (November 29, 2009)
Taiwan Adventure - Day 1 Taipei 101 (November 28, 2009)
After visiting Beitou, we decided to do night shots at Taipei 101. Taipei 101 is still considered as the tallest building in the world until January 2010 since it will be overtaken by Burj Dubai. Though not as photogenic as Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur because the building is not well lit, we still had some shots taken. We decided to have dinner at the nearby shopping center, New York New York.

Taiwan Adventure - Day 1 Ximending Market (November 28, 2009)
We woke up early so that we can go to a lot of places since Tin-tin and Hazel will just be in Taiwan for 2 whole days. We checked-out places near our "hotel" so look for places to eat and buy stuff. We ended up going to Ximending Market, one of the famous markets here in Taipei. The stores here are open from 1 o'clock in the afternoon until early hours of the following day. Ximending Market offers a lot of things especially those who are looking for clothes to buy.
Taiwan Adventure - Day 1 Simon Hotel (November 28, 2009)
We arrived in Taiwan around 1 o'clock in the morning. Very tired after the flight, we decided to go straight to our hotel (Lilai Hotel) but unfortunately they can't accommodate us yet since the check-in time is 1 o'clock in the afternoon. The reception in the lobby told us that we can check-in at a nearby hotel and then just transfer there in the afternoon. Since all of us are already sleepy, we decided to stay on the nearby hotel.
Upon check-in, we realized that the hotel is not an ordinary hotel, it's a motel type where each room has a theme. We got two rooms, the first one where I stayed is Japanese-inspired and the other one (I don't know the exact theme) has a chair especially for love making (boom boom! hehehe!)
Curious? Just check-out the picture here in this album. hehehehe...

A day with the children of Payatas
Carissa spent her birthday last October 10 with the children of Payatas along with Carmi, Tito Resty (Carissa's father), Faye, Trina, Aqui and Katitay. We enjoyed spending the afternoon with the children. The children presented a play entitled Juan Tamad with Darwin playing the lead role. Carmi joined the children in Stop Dance while Carissa and Trina became Pokwang and Mariel in hosting Hep Hep Hooray!
It was really a very fulfilling activity and we promised ourselves that we will return there for another afternoon of fun and surprises!

This is really an adventure that is worth doing again!

FEU Lady Tamaraws beat CSB Lady Blazers in 4 sets and my dear UST Tigresses lost to ADMU Oracare Lady Eagles in 5 sets.
The only good thing that happened was that Ana and I were able to have a picture with former UST Setter Denise Tan who is now one of the courtside reporters of the V-League.

Bisita Iglesia 2009
It seems that every Holyweek I am able to do something different. This year was no exception as I completed Bisita Iglesia for the first time!
With Carissa and Ana completing the triumvirate, we accomplished visiting 14 different churches in 5 different cities in Metro Manila. Though it is very tiring, the experience was really worth it!
Here are the churches we visited:
1. St. Francis Church (Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong)
2. Christ the King Chruch (Green Meadows, Quezon City)
3. Sanctuario de San Jose (Greenhills, San Juan)
4. Santisimo Rosario Parish (UST, Manila)
5. Basilica of the Black Nazarene (Quiapo)
6. San Sebastian Church
7. San Miguel Church (Malacanang)
8. St Jude Archdiocesan Shrine (Malacanang)
9. San Beda Church (Mendiola)
10. St Francis of Assisi Church (Legarda)
11. Our Lady of Loretto Church (Legarda)
12. San Agustin Church (Intramuros)
13. Manila Cathedral (Intramuros)
14. Shrine of the Infant Jesus (Mall of Asia, Pasay)
Carissa and Ana had some very quotable quotes... hehehehe..
"Wala bang entrance sa gilid?" - Carissa referring to the UST Main Bldg. She thought this is the UST Chapel.
"Pa-picture tayo sa mga Claudia Sibil!" - Ana (Claudia should be Guardia)
"Baka sa Cavity kami bukas..." - Ana (Cavity should be Cavite)
Peace ladies!!! hehehehehe...
Sunset etc.
