Mio and Girlie's Wedding

Attended my friends Girlie and Mio's Wedding at the Shrine of the Infant Jesus near SM Mall of Asia last March 7, 2009.

Also in the wedding are some of my Sun Life friends - Resqu, Brader Alvin and his wife Janicelle, Manang Hazel, Kuya Jon, Boss Neil, Brader JV, Miss Yane and many more... hehehehe...

Haller Baler - the Baler Surfing Experience

Went to Baler last March 14-15, 2009 for a surfing adventure with my Headstrong Dabarkads (we're 22! ang dami!).

We stayed at Bay Inn Resort in Baler and our trip was arranged by Bart. Eventhough I wasn't able to surf (yoko na! hehehehehe), I'm sure the group really enjoyed it!

The package doesn't only include the surfing experience but also a tour around the town of Baler (capital of the province of Aurora) and swimming in a very cold batis with waterfalls. Unfortunately, we were not able to go inside the famous Baler Church and Museum because of the rain.

The experience is really a very memorable one since this was my last gimik with my friends as a Headstrong employee.

We will definitely go back to BALER!!!

UAAP Season 71 Final Four - UST vs FEU

Watched the semifinal match between UST WVT and FEU WVT for the right to meet DLSU WVT in the Finals.

Too bad, UST lost to FEU in 4 sets. It's ok because they are a rookie-laden team and finishing 3rd is not bad at all.

Headstrong Gawad Kalinga Build Day

Joined Headstrong's Outreach activity of building houses for the poor by attending the Gawad Kalinga Build Day last Saturday, February 21, in Taguig City.

Boyce Avenue live in Manila!

Watched Boyce Avenue (Alejandro, Daniel, Fabian and Stephen) twice - the first one was at SM Mall of Asia (Feb 13) with Jover and Pao and the second one was at SM Megamall (Feb 15) with Ana. They are really amazing!

I bought their album but I wasn't able to get their autographs. Hope they will visit the Philippines again soon...

Halley Valentine's Day Celebration

Spent my valentines with my Headstrong friends, Carisse, Aqui, Jover, Katitay, Faye, Trina, Paolo, Kit and Marvin.

The day started with the Biking Session at Quezon City Memorial Circle. We enjoyed biking just like the kids there in Circle. A group of children (at least 8 riding a bike with sidecar) caught our attention as they were cheering one of their friends (the smallest in the group who is in charged of pushing and pulling the sidecar) the famous commercial of Robin Padilla. Everyone is shouting "Think positive, wag kang aayaw!". Poor little boy... hehehehe... But Katitay heard differently and she told us that she thought the kids were shouting "Chimpanzee, wag kang aayaw!"... NICE KATITAY!!! :P

After biking, we headed to Le Ching Tea House in Banawe for a sumptuous lunch. Next destination, relaxation time in Ace Water Spa! Everyone left the place relaxed and feeling sleepy...hehehehe...

Then, off we went to one of our favorite resto in QC, Mr. Kabab. We ordered their famous Sizzling Keema, Ox Brain and Chelo Kabab. Yummy!!!

The last destination for the day (Feb 14) is at Route 196 in Katipunan where Kaze, Faye's band, played some senti songs for Valentines. We left the place around 2 o'clock in the morning (that's already Feb 15!). :)

Since it is already early morning, some of us decided to have a breakfast at Jollibee in Tiendesitas before going home and rest.

This is one of the best Valentine's day celebration that I had! I really enjoyed it!
